Hello and a very big welcome to Jetsetprizes!
My name is Andi Pugh and I started off this website during a chilly January when most of the United Kingdom was covered in snow. This was the ideal time to dream about flying off to sunnier climes. I’d often daydream about what sort of wonderful destinations could be traveled… and for free! I figured out that by entering holiday competitions is perhaps one of the best ways that this can be done and for no cost and so the idea of JetSetPrizes.co.uk was conceived.
I have always had a passion for entering competitions, some of the more interesting prizes I have won include a trip to Tiswas studios at ATV in the 80’s, book tokens for a poem about my gerbils and vouchers for designer swimwear (a runner up prize in a ‘win a holiday to Australia’ competition!).
One of the reasons why I decided to create my own website is that I am not fond of websites that seem to offer spammy competition prize offerings so I decided that by creating Jetsetprizes I could provide visitors with a handpicked selection of quality prizes. Many of the competitions featured on Jetsetprizes are from quality well known promoters and sponsors.
I personally enter every competition that is featured on the jetsetprizes.co.uk and if I am unhappy with any aspect of the competition I will not feature it on my website. I do not feature competitions that are too complicated to enter as Jetsetprizes.co.uk is still in its infancy and I hope will continue to develop and grow and offer you the visitor interesting and inspiring competitions that you could be in for a very good chance of winning. With a bit of luck and persistence you will eventually be among the lucky winners!
Terms and Conditions
I strongly recommend that you read the terms and conditions of each competition. As part of the competition entry form some of the promoters give you the opportunity to either opt out or opt in to receiving marketing emails or via another method such as post or text. If you do decide to subscribe to them and you are not keen on receiving emails, you can always unsubscribe at a later dates (this is a legal requirement) however sometimes companies may tell you about other competitions they have coming up using this method and of course you are always welcome to visit Jetsetprizes.co.uk again to find new competitions.
Many of the competitions that are featured on Jetsetprizes.co.uk are only eligible for people only who are resident in the UK to enter and most you have to be 18 or over, however some do stipulate 21 years or over. This may be because car hire is part of the prize. If its a competition for a family it could be that the competition is designed for 2 adult and 2 children and there may be stipulation with regards to the ages of the children. Some promoters also stipulate as part of the terms and conditions that the entrant agrees that their name or photograph they can be used for publicity purposes.
